Description

Location: Sohar, Oman Employment Type: Full-Time About Us: Sohar Packaging Factory is a leading manufacturer in the packaging industry, committed to delivering high-quality solutions. We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee all accounting operations and ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting functions, including financial reporting and reconciliations. Update and manage payments from customers and suppliers. Prepare financial statements (FS) and VAT filings in compliance with regulations. Train and mentor new employees in accounting processes. Ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping, budgeting, and forecasting. Assist with audits and internal financial controls. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or packaging industries. Strong knowledge of VAT, financial statements, and general accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software (e. g. , SAP, QuickBooks, or similar). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and communication abilities.
