Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Print Shop Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in print shop operations, sales, and business development. This role involves managing sales opportunities, handling contracts, setting up the print shop, and acquiring the necessary machines and tools to ensure smooth operations. Key Responsibilities: - Sales and Business Development: - Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to grow the business. - Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business. - Prepare and present sales proposals and contracts to potential clients. Print Shop Operations: - Oversee the setup and organization of the print shop, ensuring all equipment and tools are in place and functioning correctly. - Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to acquire necessary machines, tools, and materials. - Ensure the print shop operates efficiently and meets production deadlines. Customer Service: - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly. - Assist clients with selecting the appropriate printing services and products to meet their needs. Quality Control: - Monitor the quality of printed materials to ensure they meet the company’s standards. - Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of production. Administrative Duties: - Maintain accurate records of sales, contracts, and inventory. - Prepare reports on sales performance and shop operations for management review. Qualifications: - Proven experience in a print shop or similar environment. - Strong knowledge of print shop operations, equipment, and tools. - Excellent sales and customer service skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in using print shop software and tools. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in printing technology is a plus.
