Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Painting Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all painting work meets industry standards, project specifications, and quality requirements. BGAS and OQ Certified
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect painted surfaces for proper coverage, adhesion, and finish quality
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Identify defects such as runs, sags, or missed areas and recommend corrective actions
Conduct thickness and adhesion tests using appropriate inspection tools
Maintain detailed inspection records and reports
Work closely with painters and supervisors to ensure quality standards are met
Qualifications:
Experience in industrial or commercial painting inspection preferred
Knowledge of coating systems, surface preparation, and application techniques
Familiarity with industry standards (e. g. , SSPC, NACE, ASTM) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues
Good communication and reporting skills
