Description

In general, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at our rubber recycling plant in Oman. The Senior Maintenance Technician will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities of the plant, ensuring the proper functioning of machinery and equipment, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize down- time. Lead the maintenance team in conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to prolong equipment lifespan and prevent unexpected breakdowns. Coordinate with production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities, prioritize repairs, and minimize disruption to production schedules. Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff to enhance their skills and capabilities in equipment maintenance and repair. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during maintenance activities, and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory of spare parts and supplies. Provides feedback on machines performance & prepares reports and updates for upper management. Possess in-depth knowledge and expertise in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems to diagnose and resolve complex maintenance issues efficiently. Ensuring that the company's quality, hygiene and health & safety standards are met at all times. Making sure that the production line moves smoothly and efficiently.
