This role requires someone with strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operationally intensive logistics environment. **Responsibilities:** 1. **Talent Acquisition:** - Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding. - Develop strategies to attract and retain top talent in the logistics and supply chain sector. - Build partnerships with recruitment agencies and educational institutions for talent pipelines. 2. **Employee Relations:** - Promote a positive workplace culture through proactive communication and engagement. - Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions. - Facilitate regular employee feedback sessions and implement initiatives to boost morale and retention. 3. **Training and Development:** - Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and career development. - Support operational staff with health and safety training, compliance, and regulatory updates. 4. **Performance Management:** - Implement performance appraisal systems to monitor and recognize employee contributions. - Collaborate with department heads to identify performance improvement opportunities. - Provide coaching and counseling for employees where necessary. 5. **Compliance and Policies:** - Ensure company-wide compliance with local labor laws and internal HR policies. - Stay updated on industry trends and legal requirements to improve HR practices. - Review and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures regularly. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. - Proven experience in HR management, ideally within the logistics or transportation industry. - In-depth knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, and recruitment practices. - Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment.
