Description
The responsibilities of the Mechanic and Hydraulic Technician is to enhance operational efficiency and safety of operations on site by means of the main following responsibilities:
Diagnostics repairs and maintenance of various vehicle types, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Troubleshooting by promptly identifying & preventing Engine Malfunctions with the ability to immediately recognize the reasons of any unusual noises, smoke and loss of power so as to minimize downtime.
Hydraulic System Failures - detecting oil leaks, loss of pressure and malfunctioning components of various hydraulic systems & components to avoid interruption to operations and safety risks to the operator.
Using Diagnostic Tools and Equipment to promptly identify problems with equipment. Preventative Maintenance – Applying Preventative Maintenance Strategies by means of Implementing Proactive maintenance schedules to protect the heavy equipment from failure ensuring the longevity and reliability of the machinery in order to significantly reduce incidences of unexpected malfunctioning of the heavy equipment’s and vehicles.
