Kitchen Chef
Location: Al Khuwair
We are seeking a skilled and creative Kitchen Chef to join our team at a 3 Star Hotel. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing Pakistani, Continental, and Fast Food dishes, with a passion for delivering high-quality culinary experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of Pakistani, Continental, and Fast Food dishes to a high standard, ensuring quality, presentation, and taste consistency.
Design daily menus and special dishes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.
Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including food preparation, portion control, and cooking techniques.
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures in accordance with health and safety standards.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and portion sizes.
Maintain inventory of ingredients, placing orders and coordinating with suppliers to ensure availability of fresh produce.
Monitor food costs and optimize the kitchen budget by reducing waste and maximizing efficiency.
Collaborate with the restaurant manager and front-of-house team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Ensure that kitchen equipment and appliances are maintained and functioning properly.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef, with expertise in Pakistani, Continental, and Fast Food cuisine.
Culinary certification or equivalent training is preferred.
Ability to create and follow recipes with precision and consistency.
Strong knowledge of kitchen safety, hygiene standards, and food storage practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
