Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Resource Coordinator / Project Coordinator to oversee and support the smooth mobilisation and coordination of project resources—primarily manpower, plant, and equipment. The ideal candidate will act as a vital link between internal teams, vendors, and client representatives, ensuring timely deployment, addressing welfare-related matters, and supporting administrative operations. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong follow-up ability, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor resource mobilisation activities (manpower and equipment) in line with project schedules.
Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and hiring agencies to ensure timely mobilization of hired resources.
Address and follow up on welfare-related concerns of hired and project staff (accommodation, transport, medical, etc. ).
Coordinate leave replacements and ensure proper tracking and communication of personnel availability.
Act as a primary administrative liaison with client admin teams, ensuring compliance with onboarding/offboarding protocols, gate passes, and documentation requirements.
Maintain and update mobilization trackers, manpower deployment schedules, and equipment logs.
Ensure all administrative formalities related to mobilization and demobilization are completed in a timely manner.
Support HR and operations teams in onboarding processes, document control, and compliance tracking.
Provide regular reports to project and operations teams on resource status and upcoming requirements.
Proactively resolve any issues that could delay mobilization or impact project timelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Logistics, or related field.
3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Oil & Gas or construction sector.
Must be currently available in Oman and eligible for local transfer.
Fluent in Hindi and English; Arabic proficiency is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge and working experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
A proactive team player with high attention to detail and organizational capability.
Preferred Attributes:
Familiarity with PDO / OPAL standards and manpower mobilization protocols in Oman.
Experience in coordinating with large workforces and plant & equipment logistics.
Prior exposure to vendor management and client-side .
