Job Title:Electrical Engineer Location:OMAN Department: Engineering Reports To: Senior Engineering Manager / Project Lead Job Summary: The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety standards, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions across industries such as energy, manufacturing, telecommunications, or aerospace. Key Responsibilities: - **Design & Development:** Create electrical systems (e. g. , power distribution, control systems, electronics) using CAD tools - **Testing & Troubleshooting:** Conduct simulations, prototype testing, and diagnostics to resolve system issues. - **Project Management:** Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation; coordinate with mechanical/software teams and stakeholders. - **Compliance:** Ensure adherence to industry standards (NEC, IEEE, ISO) and safety regulations. - **Documentation:** Prepare technical reports, schematics, and operation manuals. - **Client & Vendor Interaction:** Collaborate on specifications, cost estimates, and component selection. - **Innovation:** Research emerging technologies and integrate sustainable, energy-efficient solutions. - **Continuous Improvement:** Optimize existing systems for performance and cost reduction. **Qualifications:** - **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred. - **Experience:** 3+ years in electrical design, testing, or project management (entry-level roles may require internships). - **Soft Skills:** Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities. --- **Work Environment:** - Hybrid office/fieldwork with occasional travel to project sites. - Use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols. - Flexible hours or remote work options may be available.
